It could be something you did. That's true with anyone. I have found myself liking a guy and maybe a week into the relationship I find out that me and him are not on the same level of thinking. For instance he acts like a retard. That type of thing can turn a person off and make them no longer interested in you.
A man could also be scared of commitment. Also if you give up the goodies too soon there's no reason for them to continue getting close to you because they question your character. It could be anything.

It all comes down to fear, inexperience.
Fear of the unknown, in situations like that there are so many variables that it ould be impossible to put your finger on one answer.
Mostly the guy doesn't know how to react. Not all guys are completely self confident and able to make things go all the way, in situations like that it is alot easier for the woman to finish it. Like the film hitch, the guy does all the work (90%) and the frightening thing is the last 10% is up to the woman, most guys need that reaction or else they get scared off because if they follow through the failure posibility is endless

I had a lot of unresolved issues that i only addressed in my late 20's. It was never the woman I was dating. However, i would see the least little thing wrong and stop answering my phone when she called me.
I talked to a counselor about this and he helped tremendously. I would never be so immature or cruel (albeit inadvertently) again.

a lot guys get close just to get what they want from you, and then they move on to the next person its sad but this is what some guys do. there whole personality change once you sleep with them.

Sometimes its because of underlying issues he may not talk about. Examples: You have children and after seeing them and listening to them, he changes his mind.
He may realize that the other woman he likes is more like what he wants. You say things that make him mad.
It may look like you want that evil word, commitment.
