Excellent question, something that has been bandied about for over 10 yrs but no one has figured out how to make money off of it.

I think the closest thing to interactive TV out there utilizes other technologies such as cell phones (txt games) and highspeed internet (e.g., video on demand). I don't think people are ever going to get used to the idea of being able to fully 2-way communicate through their TV, except to order PPV movies or UFC events.
