First -- Catholics are Christians -- they make up over 50% of the Christians.
If you mean "Are Protestants and Catholics the only ones who celebrate Christmas?" then the answer is No. Orthodox Christians also celebrate Christmas. There are also some religions -- like Mormons -- who consider themselves Christians that do not fall into the Protestant or Catholic categories that celebrate Christmas.
People who do not consider themselves to be Christians do not celebrate Christmas as a holy day. However, many of us celebrate it as a holiday. I am agnostic, but give gifts and have a nice meal. I have Jewish friends who do the same thing. Just because I don't think that Jesus is God doesn't mean I don't think he was a great man. And since I celebrate the birthday of George Washington -- why not the birth of Jesus. Besides -- it is also Isaac Newton's birthday.

1. Catholics are Christians. Why do you separate them out?
2. I've heard that 95% of Americans celebrate Christmas to some degree. I've been to many an office Christmas party thrown by my Jewish bosses. The Sikhs at my local 7-11 wish me a Merry Christmas, my Muslim friends sent me Christmas cards. Christmas hasn't got much to do with religion anymore.
3. Like the other poster, Messianic Jews, i.e. "Jews for Jesus" celebrate Christmas.

Not at all! I was raised Buddhist and my family celebrated Christmas every year. We had a tree, decorated our home, listened to Christmas carols, exchanged presents, etc. I've never believed literally in the divinity of Jesus, but I always liked the stories and the songs. To me, Christmas is a ritual of giving. It's the experience of trying to figure out what will please others and then trying to give them gifts that please them that is the critical part for me. That act alone opens my heart.

Yule (christmas) Is celebrated by the Pagans. It's a celebration of the sun gods Amon and Ra, and was like that for thousands of years until the christians came around and took it from us as their own.
