Hes a total jerk, and pretty much stomp and threw my heart out. Why do I still think abpout him still? I know he doesnt even think about me, so why do I think about him.

I know exactly how you feel. My ex-boyfriend cheated on me and lied to me numerous times, and was always ditching me for his friends. But, I still loved him and thought about him constantly. I was a wreck for months on end, until one day I just finally realized that I was much better off without him. He made me feel like our relationship being over was my fault and he told everyone lies about me, so I finally realized that I had to move on or things wouldn't get better. I think you should just spend some time sorting your feelings out before you start seeing other people. This way, you can get over him and feel better about yourself. It's hard, but it will be worth it. In order to not think about him, find other things to do, and tell yourself to not think about him. It will get easier, and you'll be happier.

You left YOU long before he did. Get back to yourself again and start to ask yourself what you are so afraid of that he seemed like a better choice. I think once you accomplish that, you will not only find someone worthy, but not give him a second thought except one of pity.

Because it sounds like he shell shocked you. You weren't expecting that kind of behavior from him. Now that it's over you need to concentrate on yourself. It's recover time for you. If thinking about him is your way to recover from what he did then that's what you will have to do. Move on and think of it this way it's his loss and not yours. You need to put some type of closure to that relationship..... See if you can get up with him just to talk. If you really want to get over him, tell him how you feel or felt at the time he hurt you. It may help.

i do the same thing! it sucks! i wish it would go away! even tho I'm talking to a new guy that's sweet and caring... i still do it... but its mostly me wishing hes doing "not so great" or that someone would break his heart... just anything terrible pretty much...

do your best to stay away from him if he hurts you. dont cry to him or infront of him, if you do it wil only make him feel better and give him comfidence. wait a while, then if he talks to you talk to him, but dont bring the "break up" up.
its going to take time to heal...
most importantly KEEP YOUR HEAD UP

maybe your still thinking abotu him cause you are wondering WHY he would do that to you and how you could have been attracted to him. Distinguise between thinking about him sexually or as your boyfriend again or thinking about him and why things went bad.

This happend to me. . .your going to think about him until one day somebody comes along that gives you butterflies. . .trust me they will come along. . .but dont get back with him if he stomp on you. . .you may miss him and think about him then when you do think about him think about what he did to you and if you really wanna go through that again
