Hitler was a Christian. The proof is that nazi symbol. You do know thats the German version of the cross. Like everyone in history, He justified his actions through religion. He hated the Jews because of the Jews betrayal to Jesus.

Hitler was born into a Catholic family. He lapsed a little, but there are numerous references to him remaining true to his faith. He also left the Vatican alone in a deal with the Pope who in turn did not criticise the Nazis. He was never a Satanist, that is put out by embarrased Christians who insist Hitler was a Satanist or an atheist. There is no evidence of either. Himmler on the other hand was a pagan who just invented his own religion as he went along. A bit like the christians do really.

There is an excellent bibliography of books concerning Hitler at:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Adolf_Hitler_books

There are many myths and legends abut Hitler's religious views, but the most accepted line seems to be that he rejected the Roman Catholicism of his family as a young boy.
He writes against Judaism, the occult and neo-paganism in 'Mein Kampf'. He often spoke of a 'Positive Christianity' that is more positive thinking than Christianity.
He seemed to embrace any church or believer who would work with him when he came to power, but did not profess any specific beliefs. Since Lutheranism was aleady the 'state religion' of Germany, many Lutheran churchmen turned a blind eye to his worst deeds (like the Holocaust), but many opposed him and were martyred in the same camps as the Jews (for instance Detrich Bonhoffer and the 'Confessing Church').

Hitler was raised a Catholic but later in life discovered that his Grandfather was a Jew,his Father was very cruel to him perhaps this is why He turned against Christianity, later he became an occultist and he and the Nazi party worshiped the pagan deity Odin, It`s all in many finely written books on Hitler.

Hitler was dead twenty years BEFORE satanism became an actual religion. He was most certainly not a good christian, although the catholic church supported his government for some time. Remember that evil men are all the more dangerous when they think they have your best interests in mind.

I read this:
Hitler wanted to enhance his occult powers further. He had already used the meditation techniques that he had learned about while studying the Eastern religions. But that proved too slow for him. Earnest Pretzsche, a used book dealer, introduced him to a psychedelic drug containing mescaline. This quickly produced clairvoyant visions that led Hitler to believed he had tapped into supernatural powers he could use for his own purposes.

After four years in Vienna, Hitler left and went to Munich. There he got involved with others who were dedicated to the pursuit of occult powers. That brings me to a little known fact. The original members of the Nazis (National Socialist Party) were hard-core satanists. It was the Nazis who led a willing Hitler into deeper levels of occult involvement. In fact, Dietrich Eckart, an occultist of the highest degree, and a practitioner of black magic, bragged before he died, "I have initiated him (Hitler) into the 'Secret Doctrine,' opened his centers in vision and given him the means of communication with the Powers...I shall have influenced history more than any other German." (Ravenscroft, p.91).

So what are the implications of this Satanic initiation? I believe it is here that Hitler had his demonic "new birth" and became totally demonized. From this point on, Hitler indeed did have demonic power. In fact, Eckart had told Hitler that he had received a satanic annunciation that he was to prepare the vessel of the Antichrist, the man who would be inspired by Lucifer to conquer the world and lead the Aryan race to glory. Hitler saw himself as that man.

But where did he get his ideas about the Aryan race? They came from the Thule Society. Thule was supposedly a lost island inhabited by an ancient race who were "masters of wisdom," who though unseen, were superior and highly intelligent. Hitler believed he was in contact with them and that they gave him power and energy. Through his alleged contacts with this mythical superior race, he believed he was destined to lead the Aryans to rule the world as Eckart had said.

Hitler quoted the bible all the time. However he was more of an occultist NOT satanist. The ss were strictly occultist this was hidden from the regular people. They took down crosses and replaced them with swastikas.

There is much evidence of Hitler's links to the occult. Many books have been written about it. You could probably google search it. He was not a christian, no sane christian would propose to kill off so many innocent people.

His basis for being anti-Semitic was that "they" crucified Jesus. Now, I know I'm going to get thrashed as a racist for this, but the reality is that in Germany post WWI this man came and found a way to fill their empty belly's. When you do that, people follow you. Obviously he was misguided man, but he did do a lot of good for Germany at the time. The ends however do not justify the means, and that is a lesson that should have been learned then.
