That Toronto is home to tallest free standing structure in the world does not make it famous or infamous. It just makes it home to the tallest free standing structure in the world.

Pictures certainly tell a story - but no picture could ever tell the whole story!

There are more people in NYC than Toronto.

I've been to both and both are amazing cities. I'd have to say Toronto is much friendlier, and very multicultural. NYC is bigger, and dirtier, but there are a lot more well known attractions like the Empire State Building, Broadway, Times Square, Central Park. In Toronto, everyone knows the CN tower, but you don't hear people talk about the docks, Casa Loma, Younge St unless you're from Canada anyway.

I don't see why you'd base which city should be more famous on the height of 1 structure.

I live in NY and have been to Toronto many times. Both are great cities.

NYC is the capital of the world, every race and culture you could imgaine is all cramped into like 300 square miles, and they all ride the subway with me!
