What is it that you need to know about cooking?there's quite alot to cooking it's actually a wide topic it depends on what you want to know.
Do you want to know all the methods of cooking or how to cook a particular meal what exactly about cooking you would like to know?
you said that it's a paper that you are writing so check a cookbook or look for what ever it is that you wnat to know about on the net.

A lot, but not everything. I'm still trying to master baking and breads.
If it's a general paper, you could go into the history of restaurants or how women got into the professional cooking industry.

I didn't know much about cooking until I was home one day and I was hungry and all we had to eat was some chicken(uncooked). So I needed to eat right? So I started cooking. Easy as 1 2 3. What are you trying to cook? E-mail me I pretty much know alot about cooking!

Not much, I tried to make those hard eggs (like they have on easter once) I rolled the egg around in the skillet for a long time. The shell got all black but the inside was still goo. So I guess I can tell you what NOT to do lol

I know the Betty Crocker is a fictional character. That came as quite a shock after following all her recipes for so many years!
