Skin cleansers aren't always the answer. Your everyday lifestyle can change your skin. Drinking water is good for your skin. Soda or carbonated drinks are bad for your skin.

You could go to your doctor or dermatologist and ask if there is anything he/she can perscribe for you. I used to have terrible skin- oily yet dry in some spots. My skin is better now because I take better care of it. I keep a clean pillow case, wash my face with Noxema at least twice a day, drink mostly water, and consult my doctor for a perscribed treatment (I have a perscription for a face creme). Also, when you wash your face it is best to use warm water to open the pores and then after you have washed your face, cleaning all the dirt out of your pores, rinse with cold water to close your pores again.

Good luck!

I assume it's variable to the individual and your type of skin. Clinique sells sets of products with a toner, lotion, face wash, etc., that are specialized for your skin type.
The products that work well for me are: jojoba oil, emu oil (both can be ordered from http://www.healthyhairplus.com), Biorre pore removing cleanser, and Ponds gentle exfoliating cleanser. Using these products in combination...my skin's been great for about four months now.
Lush has some excellent hand-made products for skin, body, and hair. (http://www.lush.com)
ALWAYS wash your makeup off before bed.

Natural herbal oils work better than creams and lotions.

If you can afford to buy a blue-red light therapy box, get one. It works by preventing bacterial growth and calming the skin.
Dermatologists use them but you can buy one for home use.
$150-$350
It is not UV light which can burn and cause skin cancer.
15 minutes a day. That's it and it works.

depends on how old you are. I love microdermabrasion. It costs a little over $100.00 but it removes all the dry ugly skin. I swear by it.
