Why do many people believe ghost are demons and evil?

Ghost have always been friendly to me. I talk to my dead granddaddy, uncle and even strangers. They tell me they are only killing time with me while they wait for the rapture. Why make evil demons out of them? They are just misguided spirits. When the Witch of Endor summoned Samuel from his grave for King Saul was he an evil demon? xx

Ghosts are not evil the reason is because they cant harm you. I was born with the ability to be able to see spirits. The thing is i can only see them at night so i think they only come out at night time. Where ever i am at i can sense life that was ones there but, there is however a such thing as bad spirits because spirits wher ones people and there are some bad people in the world. So far though i havent come across any bad spirits. People say im crazy but aye as long as i know they exist is all that matters to me

Demons have the ability of looking like deceased loved ones. Chances are that the Ghost you think is your granddaddy is actually a demon. Be very careful dealing with any spirit being because they are very deceptive. I know some people allow themselves to be possessed by spirits, which is very dangerous. Make sure that you don't ever allow them to do that because it will be very bad for your soul. Also, there are dark angels with us now. Human nature is to be hostile to something which is strange and cannot be explained.

Treating ghosts as evil is just an exaggeration of that hostility. however, this was not always the case. Ancient sumerians used to bury their dead ones in their backyard as they believed that their spirits will protect them.

in ur case, u see the spirit of ur family members, so u r not hostile to them. But suppose if ghost of some evil human being, then it will harm u only when u r afraid of it. The reason is Ghost dont have any power. They get the energy called 'life' from us. ur thoughts are powersource for them.

Since they are trapped in b/w multi-dimensional lattice, they can use this derived energy to do somethin exceptional.

I woke up when I was five years old to a greenish light in the room I was completely terrified , trembling with fear?I didn't wont to look over but I did and there were five or six little demons flying around my brother bed, I screamed when one of them looked at me with those evil eyes, but no sound came out of me. I will never forget. 47 years ago it I put my head down till the light went away.It was NOT a dream.my brother has been affected by them ever since then.he has done some weird, crazy, evil type things. I have not been as effected by the Prince of the power of the airs influence. Its all in its teaching of the church. Spirits that you see are actual spirits who are waiting yes but the person who you know shouldn't be there chatting with you b/c they are waiting on another side to be baptized or a second chance. Go to church and you will find the answers.

You are a little off base. Ghost are not real only an imagination. Demons are real. but who needs them.They only make you do evil or hurt yourself . Evil is the opposite of good. you may the choice.

Well it`s simple, There are GOOD people and there are BAD people. Did you know that there are SEVEN TIMES more spirits in this world than humans ? So the only thing is that those who are bad, do bad things, those who are good, dont bother people and some times even HELP people ! Hope that answers your question

Do you people really think that ghost's cant harm you? For one they are simply out of their body, for 2 they can go anywhere except hollowed or consecrated grounds, 3 they can go through things probably iron and salt will slow them down. Holy water if it is real could harm them. However what makes you think they cant hurt you? If I couldn't be seen or felt unless I wanted you too know I was around you then how could it not hurt you???? If I were a pissed off ghost I am definitely going to beat you up!!

Water could harm them since Jesus used water to baptize and symbolize spiritual rebirth
Salt could harm them since in the Bible Lots wife disobeyed Gods word and turned around and looked at the city being destroyed.She turned into a pillar of salt which makes salt a purifying agent.
The Bible is full of examples of Ghosts hurting people. The ghost or demon that was being exercised by non-Christians were beat up and tortured and chased out of the synagogue. When Jesus came to the island he was greeted by a man possessed and whom tortured himself by cutting himself and chasing after others to harm them. It took 3-4 men to hold him down because of this they left him alone!. When Jesus arrived the demon approached him and Christ exercised them out of the man.

So ghosts are actually controlled by demons. Once you are tricked by the demons into thinking that your talking to a friendly ghost then your real trouble begins. You could actually begin to loose your loved ones, loose friends, loose your job, your home, your kids, your health and if this spiritual battle continues you could suffer extreme health issues for a very long time before you die! ghosts are classified in three catagories:

1) devils which are the children of Iblis (Satan)

2) Jinnies, which are creatues live with us we don't see them but they do. some of them can be good and some of them can be bad just humans are. and they follow religions just like humans.

3) Angels, and Angles are created from light, devils and jinnies cannot see the angels.
