Have they been conned the most?
The more they believe, the more they can't believe they've been duped!

Greg M - I don't have a 'truth' to try and indoctrinate into people.

Hi Rhapsody - South London is obviously a big attraction to them - they're probably aiming at the immigrants. Plenty of ears there, then.

Roger H - I've no objection to them ranting - but I don't think they do their religion any favours by sounding so extreme, etc. They make themselves sound deluded.

I just feel bad for them They call me satanic, but satan doesn't exist. I'm Pagan, and witches do exist for good reasons.

They appear to operate on the principle that if you can't hear an opposing viewpoint, then it is proven invalid. Along with the 'If someone with a different opinion becomes enraged at me that just proves that I'm right and they cannot handle the truth' belief.
The Street Preacher sites below are full of ridicule and intolerance.

I can feel only sadness for the deluded fools.
I heard them tell us all that the end is at nigh since I was a child.
Where is this nigh ?
( They cant be using the word ( nigh ) in the sense given in any dictionary. )

As far as I am aware this is still notionally a free country. Therefore these evangelists have every right to preach on the streets. They do no one any harm and may do a great deal of good.Freedom also also extends to you; the freedom not to listen. Nobody is forcing you surely, though it would do some good if they did.

The only annoying thing right now in the world, is prcks like you that keep going on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on about how deluded people are with religion, let me tell you sumthing i used to be like you but there was a difference i used to find that i was funny with my questions about religious people, but then i released how narrow minded i was and what a hypocrite i was, but you actually hate these people with a passion dont you, you keep coming back with the same boring questions, so what do you believe in evolution what make's you so sure you have not been duped, you do not have a leg to stand on, i feel sorry for people like you the more you go on about it the more of a idiot you look and how about immature, you really need to grow up,
and oh by the way why dont you shove your fiddle up your *** sideways you might enjoy that more, and did you know that your little fiddle was invented and played from religious people your a hypocrite

I think there are some people in the world who take religion to a freaky, strange place. No matter what religion they were - they'd be pulpit pounders.

My brother-a born again Christian- does that occasionally but he's a pragmatist and recognises that religion in the UK is going to struggle to survive never mind attract new believers. Not all of them are brainwashed and naive and some are genuine in believing they have a message to spread.

The guys shouting in the streets about how people are going to hell doesn't help at all the Christian idea of bringing salvation to people. Talking and praying with people individually does.
I try not to preach at people, but to people.
And they haven't been duped.

I saw one at Speaker's Corner a few weeks ago. He pointed at me and asked "Don't you want to know Jesus?" I said "Naw, it's ok", then he tried to keep haranging me, but I just walked away.

Yeah, and then the people defending them,
Sorry I have my faith, I don't want people comming to my door to attack my morals on MY property.
I don't think God would want them to do that either.
And musicol, yes throw the bible at them, I will give you $5, sorry that's all I have to my name.

yeah..........i agree with you.. Why pple have to be shouting in the streets with the bibles??
I hate when they do that. If someone is christian will not be thanks to them.
If a non christian hears them..be sure that will run away and will never be a christian.
I dunno what that shouter pple think. May be that bcoz they are shouting at the streets are better christians???
I dont believe in shouts .........neither for "christians" nor for the non christians.
