she tells him when to shower, shave, what to wear and he used to be my friend until she took him over, now we barley ever talk she changed him so much.

it depends if he likes someone that controls him they can last but if not they could break up but you know i think if he tells her you know slow down with being my mother and act more like my gf then as long as she don't go all off then everything will be okay or maybe you should tell her "like you know um (whatever her name is) your bf is my friend and I haven't had much time with him now i know you are his girl but seriously I know you love him but if you keep telling him what to do sooner or later he is going to pull away from you and I know you don't want that" tell her something like that it will leave her thinking

Depends on whether or not he is enjoyng being her doormat. I'd talk to him about spending more time together, but be careful about criticizing his ability to stand up for himself. Men tend to not take it well.

they will last until he cannot take it anymore and just leave her. Or they will last if he likes to be told what to do.
