NO it means not to kill for no reason so them and the guys in Iraq who are killing under orders or for a reason arent goin to hell

The Hebrew word used means to "murder" and refers to the killing of an innocent human being. It is not the same word used for killing someone as a punishment for murder. Nor is it the same word used for killing in war. And, surprise, it is not the same word used for slaughtering an animal.

Actually... I think this raises an interesting point. Does the commandment refer specifically to humans only? I ask because I honestly do not know.

No. There's a difference between humans and animals. God has allowed animal sacrifice, but has always condemned the murder of those made in his image. Also, he gave the Israelites permission to eat animals.

Original word in this scripture is murder not kill. Murder is to have malace of forthought. Meaning you hated the person and conspired in your heart to kill him.
Them boys at the slaughterhose do not hate them there cows.

m.. no not really cause they work there to feed u and i think it only applies to humans cause if u like pick flowers ur killin sumthin,and so on an so forth.
