I have medieum brown hair.Im growing my hair out from black,what color should I color my natural color?

Right now the roots,crown and sides of my are are med. brown.Underneth is black (this is dye).Ive been dyeing my hair black for years and have never really done any other color.I have bleached my bangs blond before but I dont want that much blond in my hair.What color would look best with the black?I have green eyes and light olive-undertoned skin.Oh ya and I have always done my hair myself,I cut it and color it by myself,so im not going to a salon.If you know a color that would look good and know the brand name or color name please include that also.Thanks.

I do not use salons,I don't talk to colorists.I do it myself or I don't do it at all.I am just wanting some ideas trown around.If its not what I want when im done,thats fine I can fix it or live with it.

Dying your hair dramatically will cause damage if not done by a colorist in a salon. I know it's much cheaper to do it yourself, but when dealing with hair that has been dyed and/or bleached repeatedly, you would be sorry if you lost your hair instead of spending the money on a colorist.

I suggest you talk to a professional colorist. They can determine the best color for your skin tone. Believe me, it makes all the difference.
