some think so. I believe that heredity may mean you are predisposed or prone to getting something. Use your heredity to live a healthier lifestyle, one that helps to avoid strokes. as you get older it would probably be a good idea to get complete physicals no longer than 1 every other year and inform your doctor about your concerns.

They are an Hereditory Pre-disposition! The more people in a family who have suffered from any disease the higher at risk you could be so should avoid things that increase the risks! Stress and smoking for example.
An hereditary disease is one where if you carry a certain gene it's present from birth and unavoidable! Haemophilia is an example.
A female with the gene would be a carrier.
A male would have the disease.
