Is a business going to stay open just so I can go to work on Christmas?

Are you a big baby! You need approval to have a day off, and who is attacking you if you did take that day off. Grow up.
You want that day off, then do so, and stop complaining like a little girls.

We have much more important things in our life to worry about what you will or will not be doing on Christmas or any other day. Enjoy your day, and stop attacking the Christians and making things up.

How convenient! Now because you want a day off it is Christmas, but when you want to pick, pick, pick and make fun of others, it is a pagan practice. Very convenient for you.

You propose like in the journey that they paintings someplace get Christmas damage day? constructive, why no longer? heavily human beings! Atheists celebrating Christmas isn't hypocritical because they are not even celebrating it for Jesus's delivery in the first position! (What about you Christians who go trick-or-treating on Halloween? isn't the "hypocritical"? You for sure do not look to imagine this is because you aren't to any extent further celebrating the devil, you're only having some relaxing getting loose sweet!) So fairly Christians, bashing those who call themselves Atheists, I propose heavily, what reliable does that do? i'm a Christian by using how, and that i imagine you ought to only lay off. God stated to love one yet another and performing all intense and amazing (nit picking at each little ingredient they do) can no longer educate God's like to them in any respect! Oh, and we've a man made tree, it is only fantastic with me, yet when I had the alternative, i'd choose genuine because they scent so reliable!!! :D:D:D Merry Christmas!

I don't attack Atheists. I don't see the point in doing so. I would guess that Christians are trying to point out the hypocrisy and believe that you should at least try to get the opportunity to work on the day you don't believe in.

Personally, think that's a bit stupid and dangerous. I don't really want you to fight to not have Christmas off because then employers are more likely to end up picking some neutral day to appease everyone, and we'll end up losing Christmas. Just as my "Easter Break" is now "Spring Break" and is nowhere near Easter.

I know non-Christians and atheists who take off Christmas and Easter when they could take another day off and let the Christians off on that day, but they are the first in line to ask off that day.

I can't remember attacking anyone on Christmas, much less an Atheist. I'm too busy eating and taking naps.

I take Presidents Day, and I didn't vote for GWB
I take Memorial Day, but go hiking rather than to the cemetery.
I take Labor Day, but I'm not in a union.
I take Columbus Day, but I'm not Italian.
I take Veterans' Day, but I don't even know a veteran.

The idea that people are SUPPOSED to work on Christmas is absurd. It's currently built into the culture. It may not always be so, but now it is. If Christians are so annoyed that people have a day off in their honor, they can cancel the holiday and take it as a vacation day. No skin off my back.

I think most people, christians included, would rather just wish you a nice holiday. But some might view it as Their holiday...and for some reason since it's all Theirs it should be no one elses. They are being too possessive, and feel like you are not worthy of Their holiday unless you are one of Them.

It is in the Christian nature to attack anything or anyone that doesn't fit within or bow to their silly ideas of a God. It seems to to a Christian if you do not share their views that you are evil and shouldn't have the same rights or privlages that they do!

Kinda funny those that do not buy into the God notion are evil yet it is the God people that are the ones going around killing and torturing others! Just like with evoultion it seems Christians have their facts reversed!

I wasn't aware of any Christians who did. Most realize that it's not up to the individual whether or not they work on a particular day.

Allan, the tree has nothing to do with Christianity. Neither does buying gifts. Those are Pagan and you need to learn where the traditions come from.

And to the OP, they do it because they're so closed minded they can't think out of their little box.
