How long will hiv survive when exposed to the air. For example, if a pair of scissors had some drops of HIV infected blood on it, for how long will the hiv in the blood stay viable and infectious?? Can you post also some websites to support your answers? Thanks

There is no problem that because hiv virus lives in T Helper type leucocytes. ıf blood coagulates and unless you mix it with saline and inject your vessel there is not a transmission risk.
