Yes, if you consider WWI and WWII. In essence, all the major nations of the world can add this victory to their agenda. World War II was the largest victory over any country ever. Put together, the air force, marines and army, and the navy all had massive record holdings for this war. It was the most any amount of planes and fighters were used in the air force, the largest naval engagements that were persued through the navy, and the largest amount of army and marine soldiers that together were ever deployed together.

If this helps you think about it, everyday 100 WWII veterans die. That's everyday, think of in a year and how many we have already lost through history's sake. Not to mention those that lost their lives saving the world from the most evil villian in world history. Accorrding to statistics, over 100,000 WWII vets never claimed their Bronze Stars, Purple Hearts, and other medals that they were so entitled.

Best luck to you.
Happy Holidays!

Did we win then not really; I don't see why everyone is crying for the war to be over there is death in all wars. This is nothing like Vietnam you only hear about 10 to 20 deaths a week from our side totally unlike Vietnam where sometimes there were as many as 10,000 a day. Have we turned into a nation of cowards.

Comnec 1 is taklking rubbish that Iraq had the 5th strongest army in the world. Israel, Britain, France, the US, Russia, China, Iran, and Australia were all more advanced militarily. Then add Spain, Germany, the Scandanavian countries, and you see how wrong he is. Iraq's technology was completely outdated and they didn't have the properly trained personnel to use the technology that they had.

I think Granada was probably the US's finest moment.

Do you realize, in the 60 years or so of the US being the world's greatest superpower, we have lost 3/4 of the major wars that we have been a part of. In fact, since achieving that status, we have not won a major war against a single third-world country! How is it that the world's greatest military (the only military in human history that has the power to completely destroy the planet) cannot beat a third-world country in a war? Why is it that the only major war that the United State has won in the last 60 years (the Cold War) was won after years of us saying we couldn't possibly win? It wasn't won until Ronald Reagan said we would win by flexing our proverbial muscle. We flexed, and we finally won. Why don't we ever flex in our wars anymore? Instead, we're content with losing.

We only lose because we choose to!

Hey Vlad get a grip and pull your head out of your a*s we had a great victory in the first gulf war and were forced to stop by political pressure from the UN those fools are ruining the USA and we need to kick them out of here. And hey Chris we dont loose because we choose to we loose because the weak minded Lilly livered liberals that permeate our government have tied the hands of our fighting men and women with their ridiculous ideology.

During the first gulf Iraq had the 5th strongest army in the world, now-a-days nobody wants to fight a conventional war with us because we would mop the floor with them. If the US military would actual control the troops instead of politicians and use all of our assets we would never lose

Remember when we made Noriega surrender by cranking Cheap Trick real loud? That kind of training is why we are winning in Iraq.
