Why do the guys I work with always poke me in the sides, back or stomach?? I am thin, so I don't know what they are poking for, are they poking for some extra skin or what?

are they poking you hard? if it hurts then tell them to stop.
as for why they are doing it, more than likely it's because there are some gals that are ticklish there. it's one reason why i sometimes do it to my female friends.
the most common reason though is that it catches them by surprise. if i get the chance to walk up behind a female friend and she hasn't noticed me, then i gently poke her in the side or in the back. the little hop and squeak she does is highly amusing (to me) and it never gets old.
the third reason a guy might do it is because he's "subtly" trying to flirt with you... not doing it very well mind you, but it is a possibility.

We poke to try an map out your attributes, whether you have a six pack, how deep is the arch in your back. Those types of things! We are building mental models of how your body look under those clothes. Some people just do it b/c they are stupid or joking!

Its because they like u! Silly girl! Guys will always poke-pinch-and play with a girl when they like them! If they dont like u they wouldnt even bother! Kinda like in grade school when girls hit boys with their purses! Its like saying HEY U NOTICE ME DAMN IT! I LIKE YOU! They want to get your attention and make u notice them! They r totally into you if they show that form of attention!

in uncomplicated terms a fashion of taking area in her, see if she is ticklish and a splash touch of direction. not something undesirable meant. If there doing it and that they don’t comprehend you nicely, there may well be something there.
