I am getting married next spring. I handpainted wooden boxes with my bridesmaids names on them and filled the boxes with some of their favorite things (lotion, insense, teddy bears, earrings, just odds and ends), but what in the world do I get for the guys in my wedding that can be just a thoughtful?

Why not something similar? Just make it more masculine.
Men need a place to put their change, keys, etc. They also need a place to put cuff links, tie tacs, watches and some need a place to put their earrings, necklaces & bracelets.

For mine I did the following:

Brother - Gift certificate to hotel where he and wife got engaged
Brother in Law - Something computer related (techie)
Friend 1 - D&D dice (expensive dice set)
Friend 2 - Golf divot repair tools from Peeble Beach

each gift was tailored to the guy's interests that way you know they will get some use out of it because seriously who uses a flask all that often?

You don't get the groomsmen anything; that would be something the groom takes care of. Money clip, liquor flask, ID bracelet are a few suggestions for your fiance, if he doesn't have any ideas.

some sort of personalized gifts (depending on your budget) the guys might like monogrammed glass beer mugs, monogrammed cuff links or collared shirts. I've found personalizing things is a great way to make them feel like you really put thought into it (which it sounds like you are!)

Start an iMemoryBook and then send them all an invite to come and add a funny memory or photo. When you are done you will have a compilation of great memories and photos in a hardbound book. It is really fun to see yourself and your memories in a memory book.
