I have had a virus and my left side of my nose is stuffed up. I kept blowing my nose because of the uncomfortableness. yesterday it bled for 3 and a half hours. it'd stop for about 5 minutes then start up again. today i was blowing my nose trying to get all the stuff out and it was slightly bleeding again. I can't just leave it in my nose. any suggestions?

Go to the Doctors, you have an infection. It will only get worse. Blowing your nose alot only makes more mucus. So does drinking milk while you are sick. Go to the Doctors.

It Sounds like you have an allergic reaction. First take your blood pressure because someone with high blood pressure can bleed out of the nose! If your blood pressure is good . Try some nasal saline spray a few times a day . Also avoid dairy products they make sinus problems worse. This also could be a sinus infection.If this continues see a doctor.

I think you're blowing too hard, rupturing the blood vessels in your nose. What are you taking for it?

If you live in a dry climate, it can make your nose bleed. Try a hot bath to create humidity. feel better...
