i know many christians are going to say this is absurd, but ive seen this a bit on here, (even at the christian daycare i work at they say this). Santa rearranged is Satan therefore Santa is evil.

using that logic, why do they dismiss that God rearranged is Dog, and therefore God is an animal?

this just adds to the claims against them that christians dont have any sense of logic... agree/disagree?

(note: i said not all christians say this, but it seems to be coming up more often then not)

I have noticed that most Christians use what I call 'false logic'. This is because they cannot back up their beliefs with true logic.

Let me put it this way, santa clause is pagan, and satan is not. I celebrate christmas and easter and all of that but I know the true meaning behind all of it. Just like I know that christmas is most likely not the real birthday of Jesus, but it's the day I'll celebrate it on because the calenders were messed up centuries ago. You people read too much into things, satan is rearranged into santa, and God is rearranged into dog, what's the point of this question. There's no meaning to this. What if my name can be rearranged into frog, does that mean that I could be a frog? Hum.....NO! Let's focus on the real issues people.

You can rearrange the letters, this does not make Santa evil.
The concept of Santa can be an evil for weak minded individuals.
I do not believe that God is an animal.

That out of the way, generalizing by saying, "christians dont have any sense of logic" places you in a bad light in society. It makes you look like a bigot. Don't make statements like that.

*sighs*

Ok, some people (yes some christians in this case) don't like Christmas and use it as a reason why not to celebrate (or commericialize)

Honestly, I grew up with St. Nick more then SAnta. I have pictures of me being blessed by the saint (who was a bishop if I remember right) at Christmas parties. I see nothing wrong in Santa and it's a cute fairy tale for kids.

For those who dont' like something, any excuse to discredit it will do.

Christians tend to think belief in Santa detracts from the REAL reason to celebrate. So, its an easy way to explain away why they dont practice it. Anything not of God is of the Devil, Santa is not of God, so he is of the Devil.

I DO NOT believe that way, but went to school in a Christian school who taught that, so thats how I know why some do.

I don't think santa is satan; satan is a real adversary ; santa is a fictional character. The only thing I don't like about all the santa talk is that it takes focus off our Lord Jesus this time of year.

Blessings

I disagree, Santa is a take off of saint Nickolas the Bishop who was jailed for his faith and donated to the poor nonstop.

Christians anticipate persecution even with the undeniable fact that none desire for it. The Bible has warned us of it even with the undeniable fact that the yankee church isn't making waiting us for it.... yet. The closer the top comes, the extra we can see hate. all of us understand that it is not us, yet Christ who lives in us that the international hates. that's coming, and that's coming quickly. As Christians we could desire to desire that we don't waiver, that we are formidable, and we proceed to desire for our enemies, figuring out that the conflict isn't against flesh and blood, yet of the darkness and evil in this international.

If you're going to assume, please don't assume about every person who calls themselves a Christian.

Ephesians 4:4-6

4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling;5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Santa = Germanic version of "Sanctae" - Latin for "Saint"

Saint. Get it? O.K.

Next lesson:

"Claus" - contracted from "Nicolas" or "Niclaus"

Santa (Saint) Claus (Nicholas)

Now, stop being foolish and get a life.
