Say you got a job.

Would you say it is because you were the most qualified, interviewed the best, were able to best fit the schedule or were otherwise more what the company needed/wanted or would you say it was all of those things plus God wanted you to have that job too?

I would say that with the help of God, I was the most qualified, interviewed the best, was able to best fit the schedule and was otherwise more what the company needed/wanted.
There are an infinite number of experiences that lead a person to where they are now. Does it really bother people that some believe that God helped influence some of those experiences?

Almost every spiritually aware person understand that logic is not the only force at work. I do not think any intelligent people over 40 do not at least suspect that there are other forces at work, which is not to say that most of us first time through figure if she wiggles her bottom like a water foul she probably wants to be ducked.

The thing is if you pursue all things logically you not only find out that sometimes things do not fit but you also find there is a pattern to the things that do not fit.

How many blades does an Occam Razor have? Is it better then my Schick?

As for getting the job, both. I was better qualified, and I believe God has a plan for me in this job.

In essence, applying "God" to each answer you give generally *is* the easiest answer. Therefore, Occam's Razor is pretty much saying God did it. That seems like the simplest explanation. And to those who ask, "But WHY did God do it?", the answer from the Christians is, "It was His will." I know, real lousy answer, but God is Occam's Razor. I'm actually pretty stumped by this one. Thanks, lol.

If I simply walk with God in my daily works, then why worry about this sort of thing? You see, if I sent in for a job within my walk, then why question His involvement, regardless of my qualification. Even applying for a job you won't get could be an act of humility. You test a lot of people who only think they understand theology. Your questions are pretty good from time to time.

They apply God.

Even more confusing example: lots of people in New Orleans became MORE religious after the hurricane, because they believe God intervened to save them from drowning.

All I can say is, huh?

Man-o-man Sho-nuf what is your major malfunction? Were you molested by a priest when you were a kid? Did you mother run away with a Bible salesman or what? All right thinking people of ANY ethical belief escoriate your juvenile attacks, and disabuse themselves of your clearly bigoted insulting opinions.....get a life but I don't hold out much hope for this

I would praise God for allowing me to be the person that they hired. All the things they were looking for were provided to me by God, so therefore I got the job.
