In cheerleading they are called spankies. But they are just called volleyball shorts.

Most people call them spandex, but if you go to a sporting goods store you can call they volleyball shorts and they'll most likely know what you're talking about. I find them very comfortable, and there's also the peace of mind that comes from knowing that if you dive or pancake yourself your shorts won't slide down! They are very tight, and you should probably make sure there is minimal cotton in them so they won't shrink. For brands, I recommend Nike and Mizuno. They may be a bit more expensive, but the quality is much better and they have a more flattering design. I don't know how you can flatter bodies like mine, but somehow they do!

They can be called volleyball shorts or Spandex. They are REALLY comfortable! They don't slide down or up like any regular shorts. I love them!

They are called Spandex. I wear them all the time, and yes, they are very comfy! They make playing volleyball a lot easier, too.

I think everyone has pretty much already said they're called spandex. It depends on the person who wears them, but usually people think they're comfortable. I don't play volleyball anymore, and I kept my spanex and wear them around the house because they're so comfy!

Spandex! yes they are very comfortable but you might feel awkward in them if you dont like showing skin

They are called Butt Huggers... You won't like them at first unless you were really short stuff. They bug you because they feel like you are showing all you body but don't worry and you will get used to them because I wear them... in volleyball.

I love my spandex shorts. They are really comfortable. You wouldnt think so but they are.
