I am an educated born again christian who has studied christian apologetics. Deep deep down I know and understand that the bible is true, that Jesus is real and I have tons of support to show this.
There are more and more scientists (just saw a show on TV about this) that are recanting evolution and Darwin.
I won't tell you about my personal experiences I've had with the living Jesus. You have chosen not to believe, not to look at the evidence. You would have to change your ways and face your sins if you did!

No,not at all. Deep down inside, Christians have an immense deep peace that passes all understanding. I notice you said "probably" not true, so you are saying that Christianity is "probably" true. The bible says, "Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord." Why not do it now, instead of waiting until it's too late? Peace and Joy to you and yours. Faith is the word so manipulated that a lie can be created out of it until the liar himself will ultimately believe in his own lies. Man's capability to make an illusion look true have put many lives suffer from ignorance to ignorance. Maybe you are needed to make your points much more laudible by trying to understand better what every wisdom you get from your searches instead of just expressing some challenging questions that may put you to misunderstandings.

No Way! Deep down I KNOW they are true....it is you I feel sorry for when judgement day comes. And I am not saying this to be mean...I really mean it. Because obviously you have heard of God and choose not to believe. But that is what God wanted, for everyone to have "free will" to choose. Unfortunately, you may not get an eternal great life out of your belief. But that will be up to God. He is the one to judge, not me.

Before I left Christianity I felt like I was just going through the motions with nothing behind them. Probably quite a few like that - they just go along for the social functions, peer pressure, wanting to fit in.

i doubt that most Christians (especially the Fundy variety) make many forays into their deeper consciousness. they have religion and religion makes those journeys for the believer. all they need do is believe and the work is done for them. besides, it's better not to look too closely at what it is you're believing in as you might find cracks and flaws in the edifice of your faith and then you'd have to scurry scurry to find the mortar of true spiritual understanding to fill in the gaps and gee... that kind of thing is a lot of work.

best to sit in your pew and nod in pious agreement with everything your preacher says.
