Cameron is better than the last few tory leaders but i am not convinced yet that he would be a good PM. i don't think immigration is that big a problem, though.

Am I concerned about immigration?......yes, of course. I don't blame the migrant workers for coming and those who've come so far are good people; but when nobody in my local town seems to speaks English, yet we're still paying people to do nothing, there's something fundamentally wrong going on. If there is a government grand plan, apart from covering up the latest c**k-up, it seems to be to keep the economy growing, at whatever the cost to the environment, social harmony, traditions, quality of life, security, long term investment etc
Do I think DC would sort it out?... don't know; he's trying so hard to be like Blair that he's alienating most of those who would have normally voted for his party. And there's much more to it. Before new labour took control we were all British subjects, albeit with different political views; now the Scots have their own agenda, urban areas have been grouped into EU regions and rural folk feel under attack from hunting bans, transport policy, post office closures etc.
Is there an alternative? Nobody in their right mind would vote labour now. The liberals are nice people but their policies are mostly barking. Whatever the BNP say, they are racists. The UK Independence Party showed promise but recently appointed another clown as leader, so there's no easy answer.

How do you know what Cameron will do about immigration? He hasn't got any policies yet!
Cameron is an able man, but I am not sure he has either enough experience outside parliament or sufficient front bench experience within parliament.
I have grave doubts about Cameron's current policy formation exercise with all its Committees, reports etc. This is remarkably similar to the way Blair prepared before 1997, and look at the shambles this has eventually led to. Basically, I think a leader needs to take the role with plans, not find them later.
There is nobody in parliament today to stand comparison with say Macmillan or Attlee, or looking into history comparison with Gladstone or Disraeli.
I don't want a repeat of Blair, from any party!

I don't know if David Cameron will make a difference but, at the risk of upsetting a lot of people, I think it is time we brought in immigration policies similar to Australia, America, etc. People should only be admitted if they have the finances to keep themselves for at least 12 months, a job to go to, a sponsor who will be responsible for their upkeep if they become unemployed. Also. have a full health check and if found to have serious disease or illness, be refused entry or if suffering from a life long illness, have to take out private health insurance so that they do not drain our NHS service. In order to be able to receive local housing, unemployment, medical treatment and pensions, people should have payed into the tax system via employment, for at least 5 yrs. Part of the admittance process would be to sign documents agreeing to abide by the laws of this country, to speak the language reasonably well and to attend the schools provided and not demand schools that only use their languages, teach their cultures and segregate themselves from the rest of the population. If we were to emigrate to their countries, we would have to fit in and abide by their cultures, rules and regulations. The same should happen here.

Cameron reminds me of Rodney Trotter out of only fools and horses. Dont get me wrong that pratt Blair has to go , but lets not forget that all of the problems we have at the moment were instigated by that fool John Major ie the CSA /MARSTERIC this treaty enabled free travel in the EEc.All thats happening now is the rich are buying up cheap property in Poland etc using the migrants as cheap labour.when these migrants want to return home they wont be able to afford the properties back home cos they will go up.These thieving caniving parasites are all the same.

Which country? As the Prime Minister he would be head of the UK government in Westminster and also run England, even though he is from Scotland and has no mandate (just as the Labour party has no mandate in England). Personally I think that he will make just a bad a job as Blair and whoever succeeds him, and certainly the injustices now apparent between England and the rest of the UK will continue.

Another first class twit Conservative as a PM,?
No chance at all the man votes for something in Parliament
then completely changes his mind the next.
What has he achieved in politics ? nothing
What doe`s any body know about him ? nothing
Every time goe`s up to the dispatch box at question time
he is made to look like a complete fool.
He was only made leader of the conservatives because they
had not one good candidate for the post..
He will also put taxes up for the working class and make
fat cats fatter, big mistake if you vote for the Tories.

Being Scottish, I aint so bothered about "English camraderie" :P but I do believe that he will be a better leader than our current "leader." I've been an advocate of change for quite some time and ferverently hope we Scots can start to bring about change with our election next year, sadly don't see it happening though :(.

Cameron is certainly a fraud. He is the seemingly pleasant front man for the same band of thugs who nearly wrecked the nhs and education system in the 80s and put over 4 million people out of work. Once Cameron wins the votes he will be put on the shelf and the rat pack take over. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!
