what do is tested for a judo yellow belt?

I am going to a grading for a judo yellow belt, what do I need to know?

It should say in your record book , you don't say if you are junior or senior and what association you are in. In the BJA (British Judo Association) you have to: JUNIOR
1. tying belt
2. ukemi
3.ippon seoi nage
4.kami shiho gatame
5. tachi waza combination
6. tachi waza into ne waza
7. state three judo rules
8. translate - tachi waza, ne waza, obi

SENIOR:
1. o goshi
2. kuzure kesa gatame
3. ude garami
4. matte
5. hajime
6. osae komi
7. toketa

I stopped stark still in the middle of a karate kata once the longer I stood still the blanker my mind went - still passed just had to re-do the kata at the end of the class. You will pass if you put the effort in and have the true spirit of your club in what you are attempting to perform. You are likely to have been observed before the test and if you were not ready then the instructor would not let you apply for it. Good luck

Your instructor will be asking you to perform a series of throws from the right and left side with a person; that you have learned. Also he/she might ask to hold down a person with one or two pins.

more than likely as in any martial art when you test you will actually be tested on the stuff you have learned in class up to this point

you will no doubt have been doing syllabus in class,including understanding japanese terminology for the moves you have been learning......
try to mentally go through the classes to remember what is most likely to come up
