DVD camcorder I can believe it! But Hard drive camcorder?With DVD camcorder you can create instant video or DVD .While Hard drive- if you connect your camcorder to your computer and down load the video footage on hard drive and than view it in a Window Media Player.For your inter video leave all the worries to Microsoft if you have Window Media player and Window Movie maker 2.1

id perfer hard drive cos once you edit any footage it can usually be put on a dvd anyway(depending on your computer). Although you have to keep moving footage and with a dvd you just get a new disk
