my passion is to draw cartoons and anime.and ive seen great pictures done on photoshop so i decided to get it. but now that i have it i see that the program is very complicated and i dont know how to get started....help!!!

Photoshop is very intimidating at first because it has so many options, toolbars, etc. Of course it depends which version you have...I use Photoshop elements, which has less options but was a little easier to learn. The manual is very useful- don't try to read every chapter, but it has illustrations and the best way to learn it is just to practice, starting with simple things.
Start with learning how to use Layers, first! Also, go to google.com and type in "free online photoshop lessons" or something like that, and you should find some online tutorials. Have fun though! It took me a while to learn, but photoshop skills come in handy *all the time*.

Buy a book, take class, get a friend to help u. There are also online tutorials! I'm sure Adobe have tutorials online, or do a search for tutorials

A book would be a good start, sometimes online tutorials are hard to follow. I would also look into taking a class at your local community college.
