My boyfriend has been living with me at my house for quite a while and everything was all good until he recently brought over his bulldog from his parents house. I used to feel sorry for the little chap because I always thought that my german sheppard was picking on him, but i come to find out that its the bulldog starting all of the little fights. Now that I've been working at home I see how this little **** just harrasses my german sheppard all day long to the point where he can't even find a decent spot to sleep. Now its like the bulldog is just taking over and the german shep is the stepchild. He eats his food, steals his toys, and heaven forbid you show the germa any attention because here comes the cock blocker coming to steal his alone time. I can't stand it anymore!! I don't have the heart to tell my boyfriend because I don't want to hurt him. He's not home enough to see what is really going on so I'm afraid it'll sound like I'm making it all up! what to do???

My german sheppard is definately an alpha- I think maybe because he got so many spankings in the past (that now I know he didn't deserve) he just lets the little punk do whatever he wants because he doesn't want to get introuble anymore. This is the thing I regret the most. Now I see the bulldog doesn't respect the german sheppard. I would just be happy if he started to respect him again.

when the bull dog attacks or steals all of his toy s then take a couple away and give them to your German Sheppard and if the bull dog grails when you try to take some away then get the paper and whack him one on the snout and tell him NO and keep on if he still does it and move him some where if does not let your Sheppard sleep any where when he learns his manners go out and get some treats and a bed also one brain new chew toy for praise just to let him know if he keeps this up then he will get new things his behavior should change.

You definitely need to come up with a game plan. Also for the sake of the dogs to both feel loved you could come up with a seperation of them for a while. Baby gates work best for this idea. Maybe while you are working at home and you know what rooms you will be in the most, block those off just for alone time for you and your dog. Then at the same time have the other dog in the rest of the house, outside, or perhaps that would be the best time for his eating time. Alternate so they both feel like they are getting attention. But stand your ground and don't let the dog walk all over you.

get proof but don't show him yet, talk to him about it and if he doesnt believe you and calls you a liar he's not a good boyfriend ( thats why i said don't show him yet so you can see how he reacts on you ) then show him the proof and tell him that a relashionship revolves and trust and talk to him about why he didnt trust you. the proof could be video recording it, or taking pictures. Or no proof at all if he doesnt trust you he not a good boyfriend. But if you did something to lose his trust i can understand him.
