The company I was laid off from just laid me off. Im looking for a way to report them for paying there employees under the table and also tax evasion. They sell goods through a retail store and dont make the customers pay taxes. I was not paid under the table so Im not worried about that. Is there a website I can file a complaint?

What you're doing is really f-cking your ex-coworkers by ratting on them. Your old employer can't deduct under the table wages if they don't report them.........any IRS agent can easily catch that during an audit.

As for the sales tax, you can call the IRS but you better be sure that your old employer is not paying the sales tax. Sales tax is normally passed through to the customers but there are times where the employer pays it and considers it as a discount to customers (i.e. Sleep Train advertises they don't charge sales tax but they personally pay for it instead of charging their customers). The bigger issue is whether they are or are not reporting the sales in which they aren't charging sales tax.

You better be sure on all counts cuz if you're wrong, that's defamation and your old employer can come back and sue you if they find out.

You would contact your state's unemployment office.

You may even contact your state's department of taxation or revenue (depending on what each states calles it) or even the IRS.
