I remember my grandma's cousin making this when I was a child. It looks like a small cookies or cake like. all I remember is that there is a creamy thing inside it. It's my favourite but I don't know how to do it. Anyone knows the recipe? It would be recalling a great moment with them when they were alive. They are great bakers.

Masapudrida here are two recipes but they are PDF so you have to open them and print them yourself

EMPANADAS FILLING:

1 lb. ground beef
3 onions, minced
1 lg. can tomato sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
2 1/2 tsp. Grandma's Spanish seasoning
1 tsp. cumin powder

DOUGH:

3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tbsp. shortening
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk

Brown beef and onion. Add tomato sauce and spices. Simmer 1/2 hour. Add approximately 2 tablespoons flour to thicken. Let cool.
Mix dough ingredients well. Form into small balls. Roll into 6 inch circles. Put filling on one side, fold over and seal edges real good. Deep fry until browned.

do you know what those words mean in spanish? your saying "rotten dough"

ive never heard of those cookies, would have second thoughts before trying them..
