For me, I use toasted wheat bread, honey digon mustard, mayo, and dill pickle chips. I put that on almost any sandwich.

If you have already chosen your preferred bread, Best Foods aka Hellman's mayonnaise, French's yellow or brown mustard. Depends on the type of sandwich also.

Perfect sandwich:

Toast two pieces of rye bread. Cover one slice with mayonnaise, cover the other with Dijon mustard (Grey Poupon, anyone?). Put sliced sharp white cheddar on one side of the sandwich and turkey and salami on the other. Put the halves together, slice on a diagonal, and you've got yourself a hell of a sandwich. If you're feeling really festive, slice up some green olives and put them on there too.

Miracle Whip and Yellow Mustard. Because I can have that stuff in my fridge for years and it never goes bad.

The meat you put in the sandwich is what makes the sandwich not the condiments. I suppose it may be different for those of us who are protein challenged(vegetarians) but for this carnivore its the meat that makes the sandwich
