Peanut butter, same way. Many packages contain the warning about nuts because at the processing facilities they have nut products and a crossover may occurr, people who are allergic to nuts can have an attack just from the smell let alone actually getting some nut product, they are just covering their behinds.

Some things are packaged in the same factory where nuts are packaged. Anything containing the slightest hint of nuts might be harmful to people who are allergic.
