I like Sterling Reserve is great. Kendall-Jackson does a nice Cab called Grand Reserve. And they also have a tier called Highland Estates that is nice. Haven't had a Rodney Strong in ages, but their cab was always nice.
Martini is now owned by Gallo, so not sure if the quality has suffered or not in the last few years.
All of these wineries, with the exception of Martini are or have been my clients for wine labels. Mondavi is my absolute least fave. Very Dry, very oaky and high in tannins that make for very bitter wine. Do not confuse Woodbridge with Mondavi. While they are all owned by the same company, no longer Mondavi by the way, their wines are totally different classes.

My favorite Cabernets are: If cost is no concern, I'd go for the Silver Oak. I know these aren't on your list. . .however, they are available for online purchase.
Beaulieu - BV 2003 Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon - $29.99
Bonterra 2003 Organically Grown Cabernet Sauvignon - $16.99
Ch. Montelena 2001 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon - $120.00
Jordan 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon - $47.00
Peter Lehmann 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon - $15
Silver Oak 2001 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon - $100
Stag's Leap Wine Cellars 2002 Fay Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon - $80

Louis Martini... and here are tasting notes from Andrea Immer Robinson's 2006 Wine Buying Guide:
"Tasted blind against cabs at thrice the price this bottling blew us away - Coconutty spicy oak, huge but balanced blackberry fruit, mint and eucalyptus. A real wow for the money!"

Unless you know what a specific person prefers, its not worth buying someone else wine. You will likely get something they won't like or out right hate. Give them a certificate so they can pick their own wine.
