I've taken several, and taught many. What would you like to know?

Check with your local office for domestic violence or rape crisis centers. Sometimes they have information. Check your local phone book or do a white pages websearch. Your local police or state police should also have a crime prevention office. Call and make an appointment for a short interview. I'm sure they'll make the time. They may even mail you handouts they distribute to the community. Good luck.

First off, John, unless you want to get in hot water with the teacher, use spell check. "Writing" and "Defense" are misspelled in the question.

Second, you can google it, and I am sure something will pop up with a lot of info for you. Also, you might want to check into the FBI. They have a great self defense program they teach women who have been battered.
