I'm from argentina and we are a third world country, but some people say we are like second world because Argentina is the most developed country in Latin america.
Well and the 97% white is too high, it must be 80% or 85% i think. In the last years there was a lot of inmigration from mestizos countries like bolivia, paraguay and Chile; so that 97 per cent is an old number.

Argetina is not a third world country but I have never heard of the term second-world or first-world.The reason the people are considered 97% white is because the people in Argentina are from Spain and Portugal and considered "white" not "hispanic".

It's more second world. It's counted as the most developed country in Latin America.
And 97% is incorrect. Definitely less than that.
Argentina is most definitely the least diverse country in Latin America. While every Latin American country has its whites, blacks, Amerindians, mestizos, asians, etc, Argentina's population is mainly white, due to high immigration rate from Europeans.
