29. They don't have a "W", but they have a couple double letters - "LL" which is pronounced "Ayay", the "RR", which is pronounced erre with the r rolled, N~, which is pronounced "N-yay", and the "CH", which is pronounced "chay"

a b c ch d e f g h i j k l ll m n ñ o p q r rr s t u v w x y z
30 Total. This is the real non anglo-changed original spanish alphabet. With time, it has been changed to:
a b c d e f g h i j k l m n ñ o p q r s t u v w x y z
This was because "ch" "ll" and "rr" were considered two letters but in spanish is actually one. Don't ask me why the decided to eliminate them from school, but that's the reality of it.

Officially there are 29 letters in the spanish alphabet:
a, b, c, ch, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, l, ll, m, n, ñ, o, p, q, r, s, t, u, v, w, x, y, and z.
The double rr is NOT a letter from the alphabet. The fact that you double it doesn´t make it a new letter. In english you also double many letters. cross, hull, perennial, etc.
And it is not true that the "w" has been removed even though words beginning with w are considered anglicisms.
wagneriano, wat, waterpolo, winchester, etc.

hello, there are actually 29 letters. They are:
a b c ch d e f g h i j k l ll m n ñ o p q r s t u v w x y z
Even though the RR is used in certain words, it isn't actually considered a letter.

I think that there's 30, but I can't be sure. Along with the English letters, I think there's the n with the tilde, ll, ch, and rr.
