Loan sharks are real. They have a smile on their face and will promise you the world. If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. Careful not to get your legs broken.

Sure they are, there the only shark currently found around the Great Lakes. If you use those fifty-dollar words like "hardmoney" you just might be able to attract them. Around here they drive shark colored Chrysler crossfires!

They are now operating as "Payday Lenders" and the % rate will bankrupt you. People who use them are in far worse shape 15 to 30 days later. Their debt always increases faster than their ability to pay but the new bankruptcy laws are super tight now so borrowers are super fuckkkkked that use them.
Prostitution is almost a better alternative.

Sure. 15 will get you 20 til Friday. Translation: I give you $20 today, you pay me back $35.00 on Friday. If you don't pay me on Friday, it'll take $20.00 to let it ride. Plus another $5.00 fee on next Friday when you'll owe me $40.00. Plus another $25.00 if you didn't give me the $20.00 vig last Friday. So you owe me $125.00. OK? OK! "Vinnie the Sledge" will see ya on Friday for to collect your first payment. Have a nice day!
