I will be having a 12 hr layover in LAX, through the evening, and I want to know where to go for a drink that is close but cool and fun...any suggestions, greatly appreciated...it will be a Wednesday night.

There are a bunch of nice restaurants in Marina Del Rey you can go check out. Thats not too far from LAX, a little north. If you do have a car, I highly recommend going to Hermosa Beach, which is pretty close to the airport. There is a little promenade area on the beach where theres quite a few bars you can choose from. Take a cab, its really not that far. Hermosa Beach Pier, great place. Either that or Manhattan Beach, but I would suggest Hermosa. Have fun and enjoy beautiful sunny LA in Dec!!!

Try Marina Del Rey or Manhattan Beach.... both are very cool and fun...and near LAX

Why not go see the Watts towers, take along a bottle of Ripple and meet some really different people. Be a bit of an adventure, yes?
