Yes, I get painful joints and muscles when the season changes,I have been diagnosed with Arthritus and Fibromyalgia, this is the cause of my pain, I think when the season changes it makes your muscles become inflamed, there are muscles around all your joints, as you are young, could you have injured your knee at some point in time? You need to visit your physician and inform him of your symptoms, Arthritus has no age range on it.

when you were a child or teenage did you ever play sports where you had repetitive motion to the knees like dancing track etc. If you did it is actually a mild form of arthritis from the joints being worn out. Think about it: If you open and close a door really hard for a long time won't the hinges start giving away.

Yep.. My knees are espeically stiff on cold mornings.
Weather changes from warm to cold play a big part on wounded joints. In the warmer climate it is sometimes easier to move them and in the colder, it becomes a bit more difficult.
I'd say because your joints ... basically don't like the cold.

Yes, as you get older, your joints will wear down and eventually let you know of the weather and atmospheric (i.e. while flying, driving up and down mountains, etc.) conditions as they change - OUCH! Take along a tube of greaseless, ODERless pain relief ointment to help you in those moments. Good luck!

It could be something as simple as growing pains..however you could also have mild arthritis, talk to your doctor about it, and dress warm.
