of the test said 'it means you'll be okay" means i didn't have the disease thus they tested cannot be held responsible for anything.

Maybe you didn't have it then, you didn't say how long ago it was. Was it years, months, days? So many people get misdiagnosed all the time, and if it was that, you can sue. Early detection might have saved your life.

First of all, the nurse should not be telling you any test results.... If you think y ou have a false positive, GO BACK to you DOC for either a retake or for explanation.....

You may want to try restating this.

Are you saying the nurse said that based on the test everything is OK, and you think they did it to avoid responsibility?

If you think that, you need to get a second opinion and consider changing doctors.

TRUE RESPONSE.

A nurse is not allowed to diagnose unless that person is a licensed nurse practitioner.

Your doctor is the one who you need to ask, not the nurse. They are only taught to treat, not diagnose.
