If she hasn't gotten her period in 3 moths it can be 1 of 2 things:
1) She has an abnormal menstrual cycle (which is common)
or
2) She was pregnant and has suffered a miscarriage.
There can be many more explanations, but these are the only 2 I can think of. A friend of mine missed her period for 2 months and hadn't yet gone for a check-up. When she got what she thought was her period. It was really bad, the doctor told her she had suffered a miscarriage. I'm not sure if this is informative enough, but I hope it is. She'd better go see a doctor just to be safe. Wish I could help more.
Best of Luck.

Why hadn't she gotten it for 3 months?? If she thought she was pregnant then see a dr. right now. If not it could be because of many things.... emotional things/physical things. If you are really scared take her to Urgent Care and just stay with her. You have to trust the everything is okay.

It depends if she was on the pill and got off that can happen. If she hasn't had it for awhile because she was on the pill the same. Does she have any other symptoms? How old is she that all can make a big difference. If all else fails and you think it's something really bad go to the Dr. I get it really bad sometimes. It just sucks to be a girl sometimes. :)

She probably was stressing before and didn't get her period, or she could be pregnant. Sometimes women have a period during pregnancy. The best thing is for her to see a doctor. Go with her for support!

She hasn't had it for 3 months, then gets it real bad...sounds like a pregnancy that has aborted itself. Sorry can't think of the correct medical term at the moment.

HAS SHE BEEN TAKING BIRTH CONTROL? IF SO THE REASON SHE HASN'T GOTTEN IT COULD BE BECAUSE SHE HASN'T TOOK THE INACTIVE PILLS THE MINUTE YOU STOP TAKING YOUR ACTIVE PILLS YOU WILL COME ON BUT IT WON'T BE ANY DIFFERENT THAT HER REGULAR CYCLE SO IF IT IS THAT BAD, IF SHE'S SAYING IT'S IRREGULAR YOU MIGHT WANT TO TAKE HER TO THE EMERGENCY CAUSE IF SHE ISN'T ON BIRTH CONTROL AND YOUR HAVING UNPROTECTED SEX SHE MAY BE MISCARRYING. ALTHOUGH I DOUBT IT'S THAT SERIOUS OR ELSE YOU'D BE AT THE HOSPITAL NOW. HOW OLD ARE YOU ANYWAY? YOU MUST BE WELL UNDER AGE AND SCARED TAKE HER TO THE EMERGENCY

This is an easy one ... if you love this woman buy her some flowers and then tell her you have to go volunteer at the local soup kitchen or something and don't come back untill she's asleep. Repeat as neccesary

Take her to the hospital right away, it sounds like she is not having a period but is having a miscarriage instead. Get her to a doctor or hospital or clinic right away.

First, seek professional help.
Second, has she been on any drugs?
Third, have you had any tests done to determine any form of medical condition in the past 6 months?
