I am having a Christmas party next weekend and I was wondering what would be some good, smooth, not too strong alcohol that would be good for taking shots of? Everyone that will be here is of the drinking age, just thought i would add that =]. Some people told me to try shots of Ice 101, Southern Comfort, Captain Morgan. What would you recommend?

A couple of fun/party shots that I like:
Fudgecicle:
Equal parts of Frangelico, bannana liquer, creme de cocoa (light), and 1/2 and 1/2.
Blend or shake very well and serve as a shot or over ice...it tastes just like the chocolate/bannana ice cream treat, and is light on the alcohol.
Red Snapper:
1 part Crown Royal (or similar), 1 part Ameretto, 2 parts cranberry juice.
Very smooth and sweet. A little more alcohol in this one, but keep the portions to a shot glass and it is not too bad.

Try "Coquito" is puertorrican holiday drink
Is a type of eggnog but better
1 can evaporate milk
1 can condense milk
1 can coconut milk
1 can of Coco Lopez (do one you can use to make Piña Colada)
2 spoons of vanilla
1 liter of gold rum Bacardi
Mixed all ingredients and chill. Is good for shots

here's something i discovered a few years ago:
holiday 'nog'
mix in equal parts of :
milk, irish cream, creme de cacao, amaretto
you can mix it ahead of time an keep it in a carafe in the fridge and just give it a stir b4 serving or shake it with ice and strain into a glass
you can play with the liquid ratios a bit too, depending on what you prefer

Straight shots? I would try making mixed shots. For those who aren't used to doing straight booze it can be a lot to handle.

Rasberry flavor smirnoff. they all are good and smooth. it is easy to drink
