I dont like cookies that are really sweet like the nestle toll house ones. Those are extremely sweet for me. Made me sick. I want different types of cookies that are a little crunchy around the edges and chewy in the middle

Make a simple oatmeal or peanut butter cookie. Cooks.com has both recipes for you. If you want them a bit crunchy on the outside, bake them a minute longer but watch not to burn them or make the entire cookie hard.

Here is at HUGE TIP FOR YOU.
If you want any cookie recipe to come out as soft chewy cookies.
I have found that if you substitute the butter or margarine in most cookie recipes with Yellow label Crisco Cooking butter that the cookies will be soft and stay soft. Crisco offers a conversion table in every package to convert sticks of butter into the correct amount of Crisco cooking butter.
For a cookie not so sweet, simply take out no more then 20% of the sugar that is called for in the recipe and subtitute the sugar with flour for filler. But do not take out more then 20% sugar for flour... or the cookies will not turn out right for you.
You can also cut back on your chocolate chips or vanilla used to reduce some sweetness

I don't know if you are looking for cookies that are baked or cookies that are "no bake" which can be soft and chewy. They refer to them by different names such as no bake chocolate peanut butter cookies, no bake cookies, or preacher cookies. You melt a stick of butter in a sauce pan until melted and then you add 2 cups sugar and 4 tablespoons of baking cocoa and 1 cup milk. You bring that mixture to a boil and remove from the stove. Add one teaspoon of vanilla and then 1/2 c. peanut butter and 2 cups oatmeal. Mix together until thick and drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper and let cool. I add more peanut butter most of the time and sometimes I have to add more oats depending on the brand I get. I hope you can use this recipe.

Take some bizquits and honey, a little teaspon of cocoa, you can also add some fruits into it, like dry grapes or strawberries...or just add fruit syrup into and mix it very well, but be careful the bizquits need to be squashed well. In the end after you have mixed just make small balls or some other shape of cookies.
I like it a lot

I just bought the sugar cookies (store brand) that you slice and bake...despite the name they weren't too sweet and VERY easy to make
