There are no racecourses in London itself.

Traditionally Sandown, Kempton and Epsom are known as the "London Courses", although Ascot and Windsor are not far out of the city.

If you are interested in attending racing at any of these course, check out their websites for more info:

Well, you have Kempton Park between Hampton and Sunbury in West London. They put in a new all weather track there last winter. It has it's own rail station where trains stop on race days. On the Shepperton line out of Waterloo.

Also there's Sandown Park at Esher - the rail station's right next to the course and more trains stop there than normal on race days.

There's also racing at Windsor - most Monday nights I think but never been so don't know exactly where the course is.

There are probably more but I'm a West London boy and that's as far as my knowledge extends !
