Please don't take offense when I say this... but you need some help. I am a teacher in a high school in New York. You are diffident and uneasy when it comes to trusting others. You seem to be extremely sad most of the time.

I think you answered your own question when you wrote "huge depression and mood swings." You are depressed.

I am not a counselor, but I know that when a person feels like they don't want be around others, are angry, and are experiencing constant sadness, they are likely candidates for Anxiety (being nervous/jealous/cold towards others) and Depression (Constant sadness, thoughts of death).

Your school has a counselor (or I think it does). Even though it may be intimidating to go into their office, please remember this: This is their job--They WANT to help--and they CAN help you realize where your insecurities derive from.

All too often I see people run away from mental/emotional help because they don't want to be labeled as a lunatic. However, as soon as someone breaks their arm they are OK with going to get help at a hospital. If you're hurt or injured... get help.

well it sounds like you have a good case of depression , and you should get that resloved. Also it sounds like you have really low self-esteem. You really need to talk to your family doctor, he may be able to help. Or he may send you to Mental Health, who will address your problem with the depression, and the self-esteem. You really need to look deep into yourself to see why you don't think that you are as good as everyone else. Cause you are, and you need to think that, and stop thinking that you are not as good as everyone else. You need to go get professional help. And get these issues resloved. You may just find that it will not take as long as you think. Also rememeber there is no magic pill out there. You are going to need to work through these neg. feelings that you are having. You also sound like you may have and anger issue, which your local mental health can help you with. So get feeling better about your self, and get that self-esteem back, and get rid of your anger, and you will see the world in a different light.
So if you are not connected to Mental Health , go in and get an appointment for an intake, and start seeing someone there , cause it really works, and you will find that you are feeling better. Remember though sometimes the issues you have may take a while to reslove, but it is still well worth the effort. Be sure that you are doing this for yourself too. I hope this has helped.

It may be either Major Depression or Dysthymia since you say you are very sad all the time. But if you have any times when you are extremely happy and joyous it could be Bipolar ---there are 2 types.
You do not have to pay if you don't have money...in Canada you have socialized medicine so get a referral to whatever way you get to be evaluated by a Psychiatrist. Maybe you need to start with a family doctor or internal medicine doctor...I don't know your system there. But it is obvious you need mental health help. Please go, it could make your life so much better.

Open the yellow pages a make an appointment with the psychotherapist you'll find closer to your neighborhood.
You will not know if he/she is good or not but it's a start.
You have serious issues and you'll probably end up losing your bf if you don't find a solution and the solution will be found only after several months of psychotherapy.
MOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is no way for anyone to diagnose you over the internet, and if someone does, there is a chance that they could be wrong. You should make a doctors appointment and tell your doctor everything. Make sure that you don't leave anything out. It could be something as simple as a chemical imbalance or bipolar...both are treatable with medication. Good Luck and take care of yourself. :o)

2 good things at least.

1. you are honest
2. you have a boyfriend

All you need to do is let go, open up. Have your boy friend help you. Take some time off, travel a bit, that may help instead of giving money to professional!

Type in the words "Borderline Personality Disorder" in your google or yahoo search bar. People with this have the symptoms you are describing. I am not a professional, but I do know a lot about this disorder, not only do I suffer from it, but I am also atypical bipolar.

Please go see a psychologist at your local mental health clinic. No you don`t have BPD, but you may have traits...more concerned with your bi polar problems...deal with these first and the rest will settle down enough to deal with them effectively.Medication will definitely be required, but think of it as having diabetes, you have a condition but the meds give you a great life.

Are you taking any medications or illicit drugs? Withdrawal from them can cause similar effects.

I think you need any good comedy, in the theatre or movie or maybe any book with good humour, you need more laugh.
