Why is it a good idea? I want to hear from women who had it done and men who thing it should be done to women? This is something new I just found out about, wow!

Females should never ever be circumcised..
It is a barbaric horrible custom...

This is america and women are not circumcized. Efforts are being made to aid women in third world countries that are victims of this practice. Join the cause, read up on the subject, and don't even approach an american women with such an absurd question. Keep learning!

In some cultures women are circumcised by removing the tip of the clitoris to inhibit the woman from feeling sexual pleasure. Many countries have banned the practice and if it is still done, it is practiced in rural areas that is far from government control. There are no health benefits to having it done. In many cases it is done in unsanitary conditions and infections develop. Women who have had it done have also reported psychological problems similar to those who have been abused.

They shouldn't! It's not a good idea! In some places they do that to keep the woman from sleeping with anyone till she is married and also to keep her from ever enjoying sex.

Females shouldn't be circumcized - and it is illegal in the US. It is mutilation and only done in less civilized countries to keep young girls from having sex.
