They shouldn't NEED it but they can have blood sugar problems so it's a good thing to keep on hand. My folks show and raise Chis. I show Labradors :-)

I know that yorkies do . Cause most yorkies are born diabetic or can develop that disease early in life. Never heard of it for chi s though. good luck and god bless and happy holidays.
