last night me bf and i were talking and he mentioned that he would perfer to be in the company of women over the company of men. He said he's uncomfortable just hanging out with guys. He likes the chatter of women and gets along better with them. He isn't a flirt or anything like that..not a womenizer. He's very much into me. Is this strange though? all my ex's needed their male attention..and he claims he doesn't. just curious what you all think, thanks

Mine doesn't prefer the company of most men, infact he doesn't trust them at all. He's not a manly man or a flirt either.To him girls are more understanding and easier to hold conversasion with instead of just being macho and manly with the males. I would imagine conversasion with guys always lead to the same ending. Girls are a little more open and direct when discussion is invloved.

I don't think it unusual at all. I feel the same way, I am much more comfortable around woman. While my wife sometimes gets uncomfortable about it, I am not looking for any outside action.
I've thought about it over the years, maybe it has to do with being bullied when I was a kid, or the relationship I had with my mother vs. my father being very distant and abusive... or maybe it is just that girls are easier to get along with.... either way, To the guys that only like to hang out with the guys... you are missing out dudes!

For a while now I have had more girl friends the guy friends. Although I do still have a few guy friends that I do hang out with. Its not that wierd or anything to have more girl friends. Girls are more understanding then guys and can be more helpful with some things. As long as he is still into you and all that I wouldnt give him trouble about it. Having a lot of girl friends is a bad thing. You gotta pick your battles and this shouldnt be one of them.

A lot of guys feel this way as they don't have to showboat or do the macho bulls**t roles that a lot of guys expect from each other. He may just be a real person and as such enjoys discussing, debating and/or just talking with other real people and finds it a lot easier to do with females. Do not knock this poor fella for these feelings as he is not alone in this world.

He might like hanging with women because he knows if he brings his woman around a bunch of guys, they'll be hitting up on her. I've had that happen more than a few times. maybe he was closer to his mother than his father and he just naturally feels closer to women. It dowsn't mean he wants to mess around with them, he just likes their conversation. Plus, alot of guys I know are always bitching about their women and maybe he doesn't want to hear all that either. Nothing wrong with him.

i don't think there's anything wrong wiv that. i'm a woman and prefer to be in the company of men rather than women so don't think u should worry about it especially if u know he's not a flirt or womanizer.

a lot of guys are different... i have a girlfriend and i dont mind talking to girls but i hang out with my boys more very often... but perferably i rather hangout with guys... but having women as a man u dont have to prove anything... there for stress free

I am exactly the same way, and i know girls are jelous and all but yes i prefer girls over guys any day, girls are easier to talk to in my opinion, they dont make fun or anything LOL
