My Mom just noticed that she has 3 black spots on her underarm, she said it looks like black magic marker (and no it is NOT black magic marker). I am very concerned about her, she has not gone to the docter. She is 57 years old and does take some medications, I'm not sure what exactly though. Does anyone know what this could be and why? Any thing helps, thank you so much and God Bless.

She should definitely go to a dermatologist, or at least her regular doc. Any skin changes should be taken very seriously. There's always the possibility of skin cancer. I know that it's a very scary thought, but the good thing is that if it's caught early it has the highest cure rate than any other cancer. The important phrase is "caught early." Tell her to go to a doc right away. It could be nothing... but it's best to make sure. Good luck and best wishes to your mom.

i hope it is nothing serious - but if you were not born with it - - it shouldn't be there.
